The House of Wolves by Casey L. Bond

For Citali, it is time to leave Helios. She has stood by Noor’s side against their Father, to that Noor will become the new Aten. With their Father’s death, Citali’s secret is safe, or so she thinks, and she is free to go to the one she loves above all others. A deadly attack on her by her sister, Zarina, who calls her a traitor for going against her father, has left her dying. Now Noor must be told Citali’s secret so she might protect Reyan, her son. But it isn’t Noor who reaches her first. Beron, The Wolven, heard her screams too late, her life is draining away too quickly. He has the means to save her but it will forever change both of their lives. She will become a shifter, and part of The Wolven’s Pack of wolves.

Zarina, following her Father’s teachings believes the aiding Anubis, the God of Death, he will restore her to the power of the Aten of Helios. What Anubis wants is to rid the world of Sol and Lumos, and rule the world himself. Citali, will have to make a bargain with the devil himself, to save her world and the those she loves, while trying to adjust to the demands of becoming a wolf.

“The House of Wolves” continues the story which began in “The House of Eclispes.” This second half of the story is now told from Citali’s point of view. Casey L.Bond, uncovers more secrets of the three sisters dysfunctional lives, picks up the tale of attraction Beron has for Citali, shares more of the love Noor and Caelum have for each other and the struggles they face as the leaders of their people.  Filled with twists and turns, romance, misunderstandings, and the fight to stop Anubis from taking over the world, in which Citali will have convince Anubis she is on his side. She has spirit, a few rough edges, a bit outspoken, a son she would die for and a man who wants more than she may be able to give. This is a rich tale enhanced by the characters, the world building and the choices they need to make to set their world to rights. But can they?
